PBIP Studio is a local-first desktop tool 1 year license / PC for Microsoft Fabric Power BI developers working with PBIP / TMDL projects at scale. It is designed for bulk operations.

Supported formats:
PBIP projects, TMDL-based Semantic Models, and PBIR Reports. Legacy .pbix files must be exported to PBIP first.

Core capabilities include:
Bulk assessment and metadata analysis, bulk export from Fabric (optional), data source migration, bulk table and column renaming with automatic updates to DAX, Power Query, relationships, and RLS. All changes are previewed and backed up before execution.

Data sources supported:
SQL Server, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse (SQL endpoint), Snowflake, & Excel.

Security & deployment:
All processing runs locally on your machine. No telemetry, no cloud processing, and no access to report data—only metadata.
